This project was an illustration of my girlfriend’s birthday. I used pen and ink for the initial sketch up and then added color with acrylic. After the hand drawn, painted elements were applied, I proceeded to retouch the image in Photoshop. My design process usually starts with hand drawn elements and then proceeds towards the computer for finishing touches.
