Hey yall, I have some good news. I will have internet access in about 3 weeks. There is a lot of video that I have to upload and stories to tell, its just hard to update this blog frequently because I have to get to an internet cafe which are effing awesome here, I will write a blog about it. Well, I must say I am a bit disappointed at the Real Japanese clubs, where gaijins usually dont frequent. Japanese clubs are kinda corny. Think of a Wiggles concert with people bending there knees and swinging their arms, wtf?!! The Stealth Gaijins new mission is to give the Japanese some rhythm as well as get them to pronounce l and r. laterz. i love japan. Today, Hanami party in Yoyogi park aka Harajuku. ehheehheheh suckerz.
Hey everyone, I am going to start my own comic called Go! Go! Stealth Gaijin! It is about a New Yorker of Asian decent that travels to Japan to give the Japanese people back their l’s and r’s while on a continuing battle against his arch nemesis, MSG and his minions. Stealth Gaijin fits in Japanese culture but only superficially. And on a non related topic, I just went to a Hanami Party yesterday which celebrates the Cherry Blossoms, I know it is early but who needs an excuse to drink in a park with people. BTW, yes you can drink on the streets of Japan without popo on your ass but break the laws and your in deep doo doo. ECC staff on Japanese TV
Hey ppl, I just finished my first 2 days at work and what the hell?!! I was throw into some really hot fire but as usual I toughed it out and survived. My first day was so exhausting, the very first class of the day was a kids class and lo and behold, I had to teach Damien’s kids. These little monsters were throwing balls and stuffed animals all over the place and hitting each other, wtf?!! I was so nervous because the kids parents were watching me and I committed the cardinal sin of ending the class 10 minutes early and had to get the kids back into the classroom, apologizing the whole time to pissed off parents. OMG, I wanted to just get the eff out of there when that happened but I man’d up and toughed it out. After the initial shock treatment, the rest of the classes went very smoothly. Another kids class and 4 adult classes. I was flattered that they said I taught better than the guy I replaced and was more funny and personable. I think I am going to make it here. Oh btw, a new Japanese word that I hate is ‘sugooi’ effing a, when I hear that word I cringed because they way the Japanese women say it is sooooo dayum annoying. If you dont know ‘sugooi’ means fantastic or wow. Effing a, I hate that word. aaaaaahhhhhhhhh. Oh and btw, I broke cardinal rule number one for ECC, I picked up this Japanese girl I was teaching her name is Yuki and I just couldnt help myself. Broke cardinal rule number one on day one, but thats how I do. hahahah
Hey yall, I just got a Japanese Phone. and the way Japan’s phone system is a bit weird but here’s a rundown, instead of texting me you can email my phone and if you want to do that, email me at derek.nyc@ezweb.ne.jp. Emails will go straight to my phone. Also if you want to call me my number is 080-6802-5444. Check this out, my phone is so effing cool. I can take the train like an EZ pass, I can swipe my phone across a sensor on a vending machine and pay for it, also swipe my phone at Micky D’s. Also there’s this hilarious character for sweet red bean buns called Anpan Man, sooo effing cool. I am finding something new about Japan every day and I love it. Oh I am digressing, check this out, how I got my Japanese phone. The details on getting a Japanese phone is effing complicated so I won’t get into it here but I basically signed as in charaded my way through what I wanted and pointed to different plans and here’s the funny part, they told me my phone would cost 1 yen and right when I was about to pay my 1 yen, for those who don’t know 1 yen is like a tenth of one cent, they said I can’t use my phone without the charger. WTF?!! ahhaa, the old switch a roo, it cost me 945 yen or 9.50 dollars. Bastards. I am not writing this story well but that’s the low down. Going to check out my friend Masaru DJ at this club called Vuenos. Also going to the Cherry Blossom festival on Wendsday, things are going great but money will be really tight until my paycheck in April. I also recieved my schedule for the end of this academic year and next years schedule, I am going to teach a lot of children’s class and I am really looking forward to it. Oh and some adult classes.
OMG, guys, I just saw the most funniest thing every. Nicholas Cage was on this show called Smap X Smap on Japanese TV and on this show they cooked food for him to eat. I guess Nick doesn’t like showing his mouth when chewing so he covered his mouth while eating some food but the funny part was when we was eating pizza, ahahahah, dude put his whole face into his shirt to eat, it was ridiculous. I have to get the video and post it on this blog because it was so effing weird and funny at the same time. IF you have the time search Smap X Smap and Nicholas Cage or come back and when I post it up.
Well where do I begin? I finished my first week of training, I had an observation and I will get kids training on Tuesday. thats right a two consecutive days off. Golden week is coming up which is like 10 days off work so Iam deciding whether to go to kyoto/kobe/osaka or up to Hokkaido. Sorry if some of my spelling is off, it is hard to find the right keys and every so often I hit a weird button on the keyboard, mind you that Iam using a Japanese keyboard. Roman characters are on the keyboard but some buttons are misplaced And if I accidently tap a Japanese button, I don’t know how to get the characters back. But anyways, I am loving my time here in Japan, I will Be moving to an area between Shinjuku and Shibuya after my five months because where I live now is in the boondocks, about 1 hr away from Shinjuku station. I found a guest house, or dormitory style living quarters in this hotspot not too far away from harajuku and takeshita st. omg, you guys would love takeshita st. Tomorrow is SUnday so I will be checking out the funky harajuku girls. Oh btw for gaijins or foreigners, there’s this bar called GasPanic, ahahahah, its so cheesy there but that’s where basically, slutty Japanese girls to go pick up foreign guys and I will tell you that I saw personally, at least three dorky as fuck bastards, who can’t dance or dress, getting up on these effing HOT Japanese girls and they probably ended up in the love hotels which are conveniently across the street and up a hill in Shibuya. It was disgusting because they only thing that they had going for them were that they were white. ahahah wtf? I would really like to experience that at least once, just not having to try and picking up, what am i talking about, it happens all the time. ahhahahah. Oh btw, I fit in here until I open my mouth. And another thing, I must have seen 200 people that look like my brother Darren, its unbelieveable. ahahahahah. It was priceless. It’s not as tough as I thought it would be here. Iam doing very well, I can order food, find directions, take the train and usually get by with a smile and nod. heheh, i definitely will walk away from this experience with some japanese knowledge. well, ppl, i have to go, saturday night is coming so i have to stay up all night because the trains Stop running at 11;45pm, that means Ihave to take a nap and take the last train into Tokyo and party all night like the locals. hehe, this is my kind of place. laterzzzz.
