I am sooo glad I went out tonight

First I pick up a hot hostess in Roppongi on Thursday and last night, two beautiful Japanese girls. Women keep falling from the sky. I am having lunch with Eli the hostess today, Sunday. I dont know how it will go since she doesnt speak English but we will see how this story goes. But last night was a weird night. I didnt want to go out because I am sooo dayum sick but I went out because it was my good friend Lizas birthday. Happy Birthday, Liza!!! Anyways, Liza, Henry, Christine and Lori were there to start the night and Keita, Christines interest rendezvous’d with us at a karaoke joint in Shibuya. Get this, the karaoke place was called Big One! Awesome, I have to make a tshirt with Big One on it! Anyways, after karaoke, Liza and Henry split from the group and Christine, Lori, Keita and I decided to go to this place called Lounge Neo in the Shibuya Club crossing to meet Loris friend Khan. The night started with amateur Rnb but turned into a normal club but get this. As I was getting ready to leave, I ran into Mayumi. Who is Mayumi, you may be wondering. I met Mayumi in Shibuya like 6 months ago but effed it up and lost her number! She was in Lounge Neo the whole time! The facebook horoscopes have been dead on for the last three months because my horoscope said I would have a random encounter with someone I met a long time ago and lo and behold it was true, tonight. I gave my contact info to Mayumi and I hope she calls, I sort of dissed her last time and she thinks I am a player now but my horoscope also said that the person I would randomly meet will give me a second chance, it will be interesting to see how this story goes. What a weird night! Happy birthday Liza.[ Life.Iz.Good ]

Jotorboats Bday…

Hello everyone, its been a while. Sorry for not posting videos and pictures, I promise I will have some up soon. Last night was quite an interesting night. Last night was Jon Petersons birthday so he decided to party in Roppongi. Now I am not fond of Roppongi because of the Nigerians that hustle the streets and hassle everyone walking the sidewalk but last night was Jons day so I went. I was feeling still a bit under the weather but decided to man up and go anyway. The night began with a trip to the New Lexington Queen, a model hangout but it was dead so we decided to go to Muse in Nishi Azabu but that too was a bust, so guess where we ended up? GasPanic! ahahaha, the sleaziest place in Tokyo. The funny thing is that I actually had a good time at GasPanic and even met a really great girl named Eli. Eli by the way speaks fluent Japanese/Chinese/Korean but unfortunately no English. You boy D will have lunch with Eli this Sunday, we will see how it goes. I have to study Japanese more seriously! I just want to talk to the Japanese, I know I am missing out on meeting some really cool people. On another sidenote, I got a new Imac 20″ 2.4 ghz core2 duo with 4 gigs of ram and 32ogb hard drive, you know what that means… Time to make some real money and start designing again. I am taking all assignments, big or small, I want to make my mark in Tokyo and it starts now! Life is a bit crazy now but… [ Life.Iz.Good ]

A funny night of failures…

Hey everyone, last night was wraught with problems. First of all I have my first Japanese cold, it sucks and really pissing me off and to make matters worse, it was raining and snowing today. Despite the weather, I was invited to hang with Liza in Nakano to a hip hop event, so I decided to go and see what was up. It turns out that I had to pay 2500 yen to enter a….. sausagefest! The place was filled with wannabe hardcore hip hoppers, some where sleeping and none were dancing. Get this, there was a lady room, thats right “A LADY” room!!! Not a ladies room because this place was totally filled with dudes. WTF?!! Okay, then Liza and I decided to take the last train into Shibuya to meet up with friends at this place called Coins Bar, where our friend Adam was spinning old school hip hop. We get there and to our surprise, everyone left at 11pm. WTF?!!! Who goes home at 11pm on a Saturday in Tokyo?!! Arghhh, we should have ended the night after Coins Bar but noooooo. We were hungry and went to Miami Garden to eat pizza and pasta. Miami Garden had some good Japanese hiphop and reggae playing and we scarfed down the food and planned to go to this club called Nuts! Thats right, the club was called Nuts! ahahahahah But little did we know that the food at Miami Garden slowly wrecked our insides. We had food poisioning! Effing Miami Garden, I will never eat there again! It was probably the salmon pasta that we ate! Sheeyit! Okay so our stomachs were churning but we still pressed on to Nuts! ahahah It turns out that at Nuts, it was DJ Celory’s album release party, a Japanese hiphop DJ. We thought our luck changed for the night but we were sorely mistaken. Instead of familiar songs, all the songs were Japanese hiphop and rNb. The funny thing is that Japanese hiphop/rNb is all about feelings and sheeyit! Weak! But the only saving grace for the night was my run in with this Japanese girl named Yuki. I was trying to catch her eye from across the room but she pretended to ignore me, as she walked closer I was kicking game but she wasnt hearing any of it, so in a last ditch effort I said “Stop playing, I know you can hear me.” And low and behold, she cracked a smile and laughed. Mission accomplished! For those who dont know me, I do all the things I do just to make the ladies smile. Liza and I stayed a bit longer to see if the music would pick up but it didnt. Oh btw, we ran into this weird Canadian guy who wanted to talk to Liza but thought Liza and I were together. ahaha, sorry Liza, I didnt mean to cockblock! hahaha But wait the story isnt over. I didnt mention that Liza and I spent the last of our money on coat check, we used effing coins, we had no bills left, down to 1000 yen in change! ahahaha, thats how we do. We decided to get a taxi back home because our stomachs were killing us and we didnt want to wait until first train so we went tot he convini to use the atm. And wouldnt you know, all the atms were on a bank holiday and wouldnt dispense funds. wtf?!!! ATMs on a bank holiday! I have never heard of this in my life but sure enough, it was true. Liza ended up having to use her credit card and we got home. Thanks Liza! Next Saturday, Lizas birthday party! oh boy, the trouble that awaits!

Hey everyone, its been a while

Hello everyone. I havent been blogging in a long while. So what have I been up to since last post: 2 birthday parties and a whole lot of the same old same old. I am really feeling the grind and need something, most likely a change of job. I can deal with the job fine, the new contracts are coming by the way, which could mean a better situation than the one that I am in right now, but the main problem is the unappreciation from the students. There are a lot of teachers who just do the bare minimum and there are those who do not. Each teacher has his/her own style. I know that I am not the best teacher out there but I do my best and put all my energy into all my lessons. Sometimes, I feel like all my energy is for naught. What to do, what to do. I am in a bitchy mood right now but thats nothing a few gin and tonics, wont cure.

On a lighter note, I am planning my Golden Week vacation. I need to get away from Japan, Hong Kong/Macau did me some good. Maybe my time is up and I need to move on, away from Japan, it sure seems like that but then again who knows. I am a bit confused about everything but thats a good thing, it means that theres a lot to look forward too.
