I effing knew it…
I remember seeing walls like the one in the video, obstructing the view of poor neighborhoods when i was in China but when I was in Beijing, the walls were more like billboards and were about 15 feet tall. Amazing how having the Olympics changes things.

A strange day…
Today was eventful starting with going to Zushi beach and checking out the crowd. This day was funny because a new friend got smacked on the train by a frail old lady, she told Eric to “Stop It” in English because Eric was playing the guitar on the train and thats a big no-no in Japan. Also Thai food and nomi hodai was present. The day was capped off with an impromptu parade and street performance by us. Yeah thats right a parade and street performance with guess what… cardboard boxes! all in my neighborhood in Shimokita…
