Initial D
I have recently gained interest in the Japanese Manga, Initial D. Initial D is about down hill illegal street racing and stars an 18 year old tofu delivery boy named Takumi.
Trueno AE86 vs Civic EK9
I am interested in Initial D because of the cars and locations. It is really cool to know that when I visited Gunma that the roads that I was traveling were roads that the first drift racers practiced on. I also like that fact that I know where most of the locations are. And finally, I like Initial D because it is an underdog story where the main character develops over the course of the series.

There is a rumored 2009 update to the AE86 being released in Japan for 1.5 million yen or around 15k us. If it is true, I will try and buy it.
Now all I have to do is get a Japanese license…
