Hi yall, I have been thinking about summer and India a lot lately and I couldn’t resist designing a logo for my motorcycle. I have drawn a sketch with pen and ink and I will vectorize it. I might put it on a t shirt if it looks good enough.
Here is the first draft. I know the proportions are off and the symbolism isn’t correct but I will work on that. I do like the face and overall dimensions. What do you think?

An update on the Bloom Co. logo, I think it needs a lot more work. Not girly enough.

I can’t stop designing. Once I finish Ganesha, I will do a paper craft of Mina’s birthday illustration and tshirt design.

There have been several board meetings and I didn’t make the final cut. Oh well, I must work harder than ever if I hope to make it to India by the summer. I can’t say that I am not disappointed in the boards decision but I do want to see what they made the decision on. I have been looking at logos so much lately, I think I will change my design focus for a while on personal things continuing my Yamanote Line pop up book. I have been thinking about building my own silk screening set up and print t shirts but alas I need funding. So much I want to do and not enough money to make things happen.

Bloom is a wedding event planning company and the brief stated that they wanted something classy, elegant yet fun and creative. So this is what I came up with… I used French script as the typeface and made the “oo”s into two lover’s knots and added an illustration of a flower variety called Stephanotis which represents a happy marriage. I think it needs to be more girly but this is what I came up with as the first draft.
Black and white

Pink and white

Tell me what you think?

Watch DMC aka Detroit Metal City, it’s hilarious. There is a live action movie starring the guy from Death Note. I am watching the anime now and I love it.

Hey yall, I have been working on other people’s logos and I thought that my logo needs a make over. It feels a bit dated and to be honest, lame.
The old logo on my old card:

The new logo on a new card design:

I am one of the final 7 designers for : HoeferWysocki | Architects! They liked my logo’s iconic image and use of the arch in an abstracted W but they asked if I could make the logo look less, bridge engineering, since they don’t do that. So I tried and here is the result:
Though, I still like the original logo I made, better, this one has been growing on me. Since HWA design for governmental buildings, hospitals and other public spaces, I thought the middle arch looks like the Capital Building. Oh well, the decision will be made in two days hopefully. I am so excited.
